Hello, I’m Margaret, a health coach and recovering perfectionist.

I believe wellness is mind, body and joy. And it works best when it fits into real life.

The kind of life with to-do lists and unexpected twists, with busy seasons and quiet ones. The kind where feeling good isn’t about doing anything perfectly (because what even is that?).

I was in my mid 40s when the truth came to me: perfection wasn’t the goal and feeling fine wasn’t enough.

I felt good. But not good enough. I wasn’t unhappy, but not really happy either. I didn’t hate the way I looked, but I didn’t love it. And I knew I wanted more for myself.

One night, sitting in a parking lot waiting for my daughter to finish dance, I made an honest (and scary) decision.

I signed up for a program with a health coach and told myself, I’m giving this three months (I hope it works).

Oh, it worked. I changed, just not in the way I expected.

In ways I couldn’t have planned.

Here’s what I learned.

To eat in a way that felt nourishing. What felt good and right for me that day, not restrictive.

To move my body because it made me feel strong and sure, not because I should.

To find power in the pause, that choosing less can actually give more.

That three month test turned into something bigger.

As I continued learning and eventually becoming a health coach, I started noticing how often women (including myself) quiet their own voice. How often we put ourselves in boxes. How often we look for the rules, the right way, the gold star.

I see those women clearly because I was one of them.

Trying to please.
Trying to win.
Trying to do it “right.”

F*ck that noise.

Here’s what I want instead.

I want a world where self-care, self-respect and self-love are the expectation.

Not a taboo fantasy. Not a selfish luxury. Not something we save for a special occasion.

Because when you feel better, everything changes – how you show up for yourself, for the people you love and for the life you’re living.

For me, it looks like this:

Mindset first.

It starts inside. How we talk to ourselves, the stories we believe, the vision we hold for our lives.

Loving your body.

Less “I love everything about my body” and more I take care of my body. I move because it makes me feel strong and sure. I rest when I want to. Food is fuel. Food is medicine. Food is love. Most of all, food is nourishment – and yes, we’re allowed to enjoy it.

Finding the Joy.

Play the happy music, clear the clutter and add the lemon (to whatever, it’s delicious). These are the things that spark joy. And sometimes all it takes is a spark to light something powerful within you.

I’m here for a more intentional way of living.

One that leaves the gold-medal standard behind.
One that makes room for real, vibrant life — lived with intention and ease.
That’s better than perfect to me.

If any of this feels familiar — if you’re craving wellness that actually fits your life — you’re in the right place.
